What about Shilajit?
Shilajit naturally contains fulvic acids and other humic substances, which is why it is also being investigated in cancer-related research.
A 2025 systematic review identified nine preclinical studies on Shilajit and cancer, but found no eligible clinical studies. This means the area is scientifically interesting, while human evidence remains an important research gap.
Fulvic Acid is an active area of preclinical cancer research. Studies have explored apoptosis, immune signaling, oxidative balance and cancer-cell behavior, with some promising laboratory findings. However, there is currently not enough human clinical evidence to present Fulvic Acid or Shilajit as a treatment for cancer.
